The Creative Vado HD is a point and shoot pocket video camera. These cameras are almost smaller then a regular pocket camera. They can fit right into your pocket. We are a family that is often on the go. Lugging a regular video camera is not always doable when you need diaper bags and other stuff for the kids. This is the best alternative and you get great quality as well.

Below are two very different videos. I wanted to show you the versatility of the Vado.The first is a brief night video taken on July 4th. To me the Vado captured the fireworks very well and it was very clear. The second video is of my 6yo in our backyard. I was very impressed with its clarity and quality.
Here a few of my likes and dislikes:

I dislike the price but it is well worth the clarity and quality that you get in this product.
I like the size of the LCD screen. Very easy to replay and see your videos.
I like and dislike the silicone cover – it is kind of a catch all for crumbs and fuzz but at the same time it is super protective for the camera.
Up until recently I disliked how you had to charge it (via the computer) but discovered that the battery comes out and you can charge it with a battery charger that can be bought separately. You can also purchase extra batteries so you can have a spare in waiting. Best of all the batteries only cost $14.99.
I have compared the Vado HD to the Flip and also the Kodak Zi6. The Vado HD is the winner hands down. It was easier to use and had the best clarity and quality of all 3 models.
