(ENDED) Prima Princessa Review and Giveaway
Prima Princessa is a hip new twist on learning about ballet, featuring the Paris Opera Ballet and Students from School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center, Official Academy of New York City Ballet. Our 40 minute DVD is a cool, fun, beautiful show with a brain. Prima Princessa, an animated fairy ballerina, magically transports a group of little girls to see the Paris Opera Ballet perform select segments of Swan Lake. In between acts, the children return home to learn simple ballet steps which are playfully shown mixed into colorful montages of toys, animals, children and young dancers from the School of American Ballet.
My girls love to dance and when I put this DVD in for them to watch they were glued. I was surprised. I wondered how a movie of girls dancing would keep them interested. To my amazement my 4yo is the one who wanted to watch it over and over again. See loved watching the little girls dance and twirl and loved to listen to the music. This DVD was very well done. I was very impressed.
Stephanie and Mary Kate have a wonderful new ballet DVD, The Nutcracker, due out around Christmas.
