Many years ago I lived withing driving distance of Las Vegas. I basically could go whenever I pleased. The one thing I loved was the action that Las Vegas supplied. It truly is the city that never sleeps (not New York City). I used to do alot of walking. Some Naot sandles would have been nice, lol. My favorite to play was the tables – poker, black jack, craps, etc. My least favorite were slot games. I do find them fascinating at all. I think they are a waste of money and there is no strategy involved in playing them. I could play twenty dollars and it would be gone in five minutes. Although I have always wondered about the history of the slot machine. So I set out to try and find out.

When I first became a blogger I had never dreamed my blog would do so well, that I would have such a wonderful following of readers, find other amazing blogs and that I would end up meeting such a wonderful group of women in the forums I belong to. I remember saying several years ago that I would never get involved with blogging. Well, guess what? Here I am and (OMG!) do I love it. I am now wondering what took me so long. I get a real sense of pride when I blog, when I am able to offer reviews/giveaways to my readers and when I can make a change for someone, no matter how big or small.
Now, I do have my ticket and am so excited. However, do to some recent changes in my husband’s job I may end up having to sell my ticket if I can’t win a contest somewhere. I do not want anyone to feel sorry for me. That is not what I am looking for. I just am letting you all know my story.
If I should get to go to BlogHer I am hoping to accomplish many things: learn more about blogging and how to better my blog, meet some of the bloggers I admire most, meet some new bloggers, meet some of the PR reps that have had faith in me to write a review for them, meet new reps and get a chance to be me. I am also hoping to be able to pass on something I know to someone else. I do believe we all learn from each other. That is what bloggers have taught me. I think BlogHer would be the best thing to happen to my blog since toast, lol.

I lived in California for 14 years. Let me tell you that there is a lot to do and many places to go with variety galore. You will always be able to vacation in California no matter what you budget is. A favorite place to hang out when I was a teen was Redondo Beach, California. Next to that is Manhattan Beach.
