Small Talk Six – Proud as Punch

What a great topic for today. My little girl is having her 6th birthday party today. It has a zebra theme. She is so excited. I could actually put more but left it at six. I will always be proud of my children and my best job is being a mom.

Here are my six . . .

1. Is it okay to say that my 5 kids are the most important things in my life so therefore I am most proud of them? If not, I did anyways, lol.

2. Graduating High School with a 3.67 GPA.

3. Getting my Bachelor’s Degree.

4. My blog (the logo features my youngest son)

5. My photo contest website for children (Photo Bug Baby). The logo features my 6yo and my 4yo.

6. My home

Small Talk Six – Ocean’s Alive

I used to live by the ocean during my teen years and I do have a love hate relationship with it.

1. I love the view. Looking at the horizon, sunsets, etc.

2. I hate the undertoe. It always got me whenever I swam in the ocean.

3. The breeze that the ocean offers is wonderful.

5. I love the sounds of the ocean. So peaceful and serene.

6. I am not a major seafood lover but I do love crab legs (and butter)…YUM!

4. Don’t judge a book by its cover – you could be missing out on someone very special.

5. Just say no – This can apply to may aspects of your life.

6. If you are late, please call and let someone know. Common courtesy.

4. My high school principal was so mean. I always wondered if he was that mean at home.

5. I have always wondered if my fifth grade teacher was married. She was so mean that I couldn’t imagine and guy loving her.

Small Talk Six – Your Invading My Personal Space!

1. When other adults grammatically correct me (only in my personal life, not business or blogging).

2. When people continuously huff about things – annoying!

3. When people stare at me for too long. I begin to think a booger is hanging from my nose. Take a picture. It last longer, lol.

4. When people are late. If you tell me you are going to be somewhere at a certain time. Be there or call.

5. I am usually a huggy person but sometimes people can go a bit overboard.

6. When people smoke around me (no offense to those that smoke)

Small Talk Six – Wild and Exotic

Mine is up early this week because I will be gone almost all day Saturday. This is a fun week. There are so many interesting animals to choose from.

1. Since I love horses it is only fitting that a Zebra would be a cool pet.

2. I know this one may be popular but I think a tiger would make a great pet but would need to be declawed and deteethed (I just made up a word but at least you know what I mean, lol)

3. As long as it stayed this tiny I would love to own a polar bear

4. Giraffe – it could keep my trees nice and trim and how can you resist that face.

5. Dolphin – I guess I would need a really big pool. I wonder if I could do a review for one, lol.

6. Last but not least a Hippo. Only because of the movie Madagascar 2 where Moto Moto the hippo always says “I like them round, I like them chunky, I like the big, I like them plumpy”. Makes me laugh everytime.

Small Talk Six – Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire

Here are my six . . .

I try very hard to not lie as it doesn’t set a good example for my children. However, I am guilty of telling those little white lies. 

1. “Wow…you look like you have lostweight”. I told this to a friend who had been trying to lose weight for over 2 months but she really looked the same.

2. “I don’t feel well” Told to my DH when not in the mood.

3. When I was 16yo I told my parents that I was at a girlfirend’s house when in actuality I went to a hotel part. Needless to say I was caught when I got home because I was drunk.

4. I have said the check is in the mail when I know it is not and won’tbe for a bit.

I absolutely can’t think of anymore. If I do I will update.
