First Day of School
Today was the first day of school for my 6-year-old. She is in the first grade. She has been counting down the days for the past month. To say she loves school is an understatement. This year she is in the multi-age classroom (first and second graders together). I think this will be great for her as she loves to learn and learning at her own pace will give her the challenge she needs. I will let you know what I think at the end of the semester. Here is a few cute pics of her on her first day wearing the new sassy (as she calls herself) outfit that her Nana bought for her for school.
Of course we couldn’t forget my 4-year-old. She had to have her picture taken as well. She was to go to school this year but our state decided to not fund the program she was to attend and thus it was deleted. I haven’t had the heart to tell her yet as she is so excited about going. I am waiting to see about a new job (which will allow me to pay to send her to school) before telling her. So please send some good vibes my way that I get the job.

They are a couple of cuties. It is a shame that a little one so excited to go to school may not be able to. Hope everything works out so good luck on the job.

Aww, they are both so cute! Sad to hear she can’t go to school. My daughter was so determined she was going to go too, she’s only 2 though! I hope she’s that excited when she actually has to start.

When i first saw the arm warmers and denim skirt on the front page I was thinking this was an 80s flashback post but then I saw the rest of your daughter and she is too cute.
I’m sending good job thoughts your way. Your little one is too cute and should be able to go to school if she wants.
