ODE to FALL

Fall is here with all its wondrous sites,
Its crisp cool days and even colder nights.

The leaves turn various shades of gold, yellow, orange and red,
A sure sign that the warm weather has been put to bed.

All the ghosts, goblins and witches will soon show their faces,
Looking for candy in various places.

Soon Winter will be here in all its bluster,
The colors of Fall will lose all its luster.

Snow and presents will be the object of fun,
Next thing you know the new year will have begun.

My new budding gymnast!

I know is sounds too good to be true but I did it. I got the job that I wanted. I am a nurse and several years ago I worked as a hospice nurse. I left that area to gain more medical/surgical experience under my belt. Well, I always knew I wanted to return to hospice. So a few weeks ago I applied for a position that will allow me to basically work from home. I will not need to put my two youngest into daycare. I am so excited. I work from 5pm to 8am fielding phone calls and doing occasional visits. I work 7days on, 7 days off.  We are no longer straddling the poverty fence. It is such a relief.

I want to thank all of you who had sent prayers and good luck wishes my way. It worked! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays (next to Christmas). I love dressing up, trick-or-treating with the kids, candy and more. it is so hard to find good quality costumes. My 17mo has taken it upon himself to color where ever he pleases. I have asked the older two to keep the crayons, markers and pencils in their room but to no avail that never happens. So tonight Mitchell has decided our white tile flooring needed to be revamped. He colored about 10 tiles with red crayon. Take a look for yourself. It is funny now because I was able to clean it off with Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser. Not so sure how funny it would have been if it didn’t work, lol.

I have two little girls that love to draw, love crafts and anything hands on. So I thought Pocketdoodles would be great for them. Now the book is designated for children 9-12 years old but my girls (ages 4 and 6) are able to do the activities. I just need to read to them the directions. I kept the book (along with a box of colored pencils) in the car since we always seem to be on the go.

Uprinting has a new product – Wall Graphics.
