(ENDED) Wal-Mart Your Zone Teen Room Makeover and $500 Gift Card Giveaway
My daughter was chosen as one of the lucky ones to receive a room makeover from Wal-Mart. Let’s just say the next area code heard her excitement. I feel like such a dunce as I realized that I should have taken a before picture so you could have seen the amazing transformation of this room. I will try to paint you a brief mental image. This room used to be my 19 year old’s room (boy). Imagine very dark burgandy walls, meduim gray ceiling and trim, lots of posters on the wall and lots of furniture. It was a very cluttered and busy room. It looked nice but not anything what a 16yo girl would like.
The first task was painting. All paint ans supplies were bought from Wal-Mart. She wanted a like of beachy colored theme.
The items below are Your Zone items from Wal-Mart to match her color choices.
Since we needed other stuff and we had some money left over we bought all of the items below from Wal-Mart.
I reupholstered the seat to my daughter’s vanity to match her room. I used the flat sheet that came with the set of Your Zone sheets that we got as the material so it would match. I think it turned out so good. My first time doing something like this.
I am very impressed with Your Zone products and love the way my daughter’s room turned out. Check out the video below!

I checked out the site. I actually love a lot of the products, but to be honest, I would be getting the makeover. My office is the most baron room in the house and the most neglected. I would love to see the blue lounger in here so when i was done working, i could take a break!

My fiance and I would be making over our guest bedroom or, as it is better known, “the junk room”. Family needs a more inviting place to sleep when they visit and the smaller size desks, dressers and such would be perfect.

This is an awesome giveaway. I would actually do the Your Zone for my room. Hubby and I have nothing in our room except for an end table and our bed. which is only a box spring and mattress.
I’d get some furniture and paint to paint our room. Get new bedding and some wall hangings.

Whenever my niece, Meghan, comes over to visit, she talks about how much she loves my daughter’s room. Meghan just turned 13 years old and I think she would love The Zone decor. It would be an awesome gift for her turning-teen.

Both my kids would be getting the makeover as both rooms have a lot of Your Zone room decor but they still need accessories, especially storage units.

I think my son’s would appreciate a new bunk bed. There’s is a hand me down that dates into the 80s. Their room would look cozy with Your Zone zzz place to be bunk bed in walnut. Thanks.

I am slightly embarrassed to say that the room make over would be for my room. I’m making a very long move across the country to start graduate school as a non-traditional student and can’t afford to move what I have so I have to start all over when I get there! I would pick the Your Zone Reversible Comforter & Sham Set, Aqua Geo/Iris color scheme because it’s so beautiful and bright and I have a feeling i’ll be spending a lot of time in that room hitting the books!

oh my goodness.its crazy that you are offering this..we just moved into a new house and i have been building a wish list of things that i want from that site…we lost over a thousand square feet moving here..and we really just needed space saving ideas..and the zone has about a million! its crazy!! thanks for the chance!

My daughter’s room would have the make-over. We would use “loft-style” decor and items such as the Your Zone Loft Collection Rolling Desk and the Your Zone Loft Collection Rolling Storage Cabinet. Both are in maple finish.
