Did you have fun?
Valentine’s day is over. Anyone want to let us know what you did?
Here is what we planned: First we decided we were going to go to Best Buy to get some compressed air, to do a little Spring cleaning on out computer, and then go to the mall to get some dinner. All 4 kids in tow (our 5th is 18 and out on his own date).
Here is what happened: We ALL went to Art Van to look for some bunk beds for the girls (thanks to a small IRS refund check) just to compare. I had already pick out a set at Wal-Mart weeks ago but DH wanted to check some where else. Well, he should have listened as we ended up getting the set at Wal-Mart. I guess he hasn’t figured out that I am always right, lol. By this time our 3 girls were begging for food so we headed towards the mall. We ended up at Chili’s (thanks to some coupons I found at the bottom of my purse). We had a wonderful time! Finally, we ended up at Best Buy (but we had bought the compressed air at Wal-Mart). Everything can be bought at Wal-Mart. Keep that in mind for the future. I am serious.
Oh forgot to mention that after dinner I had to go back to Wal-Mart to pick up the bunk beds because they wouldn’t fit in our van with 6 people in it. I finally got home at 10pm EST. I am so tired. It was worth it since I bought a great set for a great price.

It was nice that you went out.
We did nothing at all. we were suppoed to go out tonight, but it didnt work out :s ill take a raincheck!
Thats a cute bunk bed- im going to be looking around soon for beds for the twins.

What did you think of the quality of the beds? I’d love to know (and then I’d love to know what you think in about 6 months). I’ve been thinking of getting my daughter a bunk bed but was worried about the quality of the furniture at Walmart.

We went out to dinner with the kids (3 of them) actually is was quite nice then came home and watched DVD’s. Bunks look good.

I’m curious about the bunk bed quality at Wal-Mart myself. Jake has wanted a set and since all he has is a mattress on the floor, one day we hope to get him a set.
DH and I pretty much just watched a little TV together at home. We sent the 5 year old to Grandmas and the baby to bed. I would have loved to have gone out but we can’t do it. We couldn’t even order a pizza…that’s ok, he cooked and it was really good!

Sounds like an exhausting day. I would love to get bunk beds for the boys but dh keeps putting me off.

Oh yeah, husbands should learn to just listen to us about getting the cheapest deal! We went out for a late lunch/early dinner. We got to Olive Garden at about 3:00 and there was a 45 minute wait! It was crazy.
