Skin MD Review and Giveaway – CLOSED
Winter is such a beautiful season (except for the cold). I love the snow and freshness. The one part of winter I despise is the dry skin I get. My hands and feet are the worst. They crack and even sometimes bleed. It seems like I have tried every product on the market.
I was given the opportunity to review a bottle of Skin MD Shielding Lotion. At first I was skeptical of all their promises. I did read up on this product to make sure I knew what I was using. I wanted to be clear on its purpose, outcomes, etc. After giving Skin MD a week of faithful use I can definitely say that all the promises are true. My dry skin is not altogether gone but it is on its way to becoming extinct. The one thing that impressed me was that this lotion was not thick and sticky as some other lotions can be. It has a nice and silky feeling and did not leave my skin feeling coated and sticky. I also have recently begun going as natural as possible in my household. So knowing that I was using an all natural product was very comforting. I was very impressed and would recommend this product to anyone with dry skin.
Info from their website:
Skin MD Shielding Lotion combines the most beneficial features of shielding and sunscreen lotions – Skin MD Natural + SPF15.
Skin MD Natural™ utilizes the finest effective natural ingredients for dry skin treatment along with the latest advances in technology to hydrate and protect the skin.
This is an entirely new concept in skin care requiring a new classification: “Shielding Lotion”. A shielding lotion keeps moisture-robbing irritants away from the skin while the proprietary “super” humectants hydrate the skin throughout the day. This product helps prevent loss of natural oils and moisture, doesn’t allow irritating substances to penetrate the skin and absorbs the part of UV spectrum that contributes to premature skin ageing and development of skin cancer.
